Morning Events

10.00am	Judging of Shop Fancy Dress commences.
10.00am	Strathaven Business Association presents John Leiper, Accordionist, performing in the Common Green.
10.30am	Queen and Court arrive at Taal for the Queen’s Breakfast.
10.30am	Entertainment at Sainsbury’s inc. Joan Piacentini.
11.00am	Parade assembles in Sainsbury’s Car Park
11.20am	Judging of floats, other Parade entries and Fancy Dress at Sainsbury’s.
11.40am	Roads are closed to traffic prior to start of the Parade.
12noon	The Parade leaves Car Park and travels via Kirk Street, Ryeland Street, Townhead Street, Green Street, Barn Street, Glasgow Road (to the top of Park Crescent), Reed Street, Glasgow Road, Barn Street, Green Street, Common Green, Lethame Road and Threestanes Road to the George Allan Park. To help the Parade run as smoothly as possible, please do not park on the route on the morning of the procession. Thank You!
1.15pm	Arrival of the Parade, Queen Erin and Champion Andrew with the Gala Court at the Bandstand, George allan Park. All trophy winners assemble near the bandstand.

Afternoon Events

1.50pm	Presentation of the Trophies to Competition Winners.
2.00pm	All Stalls Open Top Car Park - M & D’s Funfair all day Heather and Wendy Weir School of Dancing perform at the Bandstand The Gala Triples Bowling Competition, Avondale Bowling Club John Hastie Park - Minis Rugby, Adult & Kids Tug of War, Kida Races, Assault Course, Climbing Wall, Stalls and Exhibitions, Food and Soft Drink Concessions, Bouncy Castles, Cycling and Agility Challanges and Attractions Galore
3.00pm	Bunkhouse Country and Western Club perform at the Bandstand.
